Aaah, now here is where the true value of DVD-R trading comes in. While this is the same performance and same video as 'KAOS in Quebec', it marks a vast improvement in video quality (and makes me feel justified in posting screenshots, for comparison's sake). This elevates the overall show to a B+ or A-, although it may be superseded by 'Macho Bullshit and Mediocrity', depending on your sensibility.
In the area of bonus features, we begin to border on wretched excess. The first disc contains the previously-reviewed (and often bootlegged or used as a special feature) 'Radio KAOS' Video EP, previously reviewed here. The second disc contains a generous portion of the show synched to audio from a frequently bootlegged and fairly famous Westwood One radio broadcast of this show. While incomplete, the audio here rates an A+ easily.
Also included as a bonus feature are chunks of the KAOS tour rehearsals (which were excerpted and reviewed in the VHS version of 'Roger Waters - Video Anthology'). Overall though, the picture quality here is C-, C at best. Those who want the rehearsals are advised to seek out AM5's 'KAOS Rehearsals' instead.
Final analysis ? For the KAOS fan, a good show in outstanding quality. Just beware of the caveats first.
