Nicely shot from the 6th row (with occasional wider shots), this is a pretty decent example of a pre-'Dark Side Of The Moon' '94 show. Presented in very clear video, you get to see some interesting visual highlights not present on 'Pulse' such as the pigs falling out of the speaker stack (Someone cut off their back legs! Noooooooo!) and the lighting effects for "Astronomy Domine." The full into for the "Money" film is also present (complimented with a leaping Guy Pratt), reaching heights of silliness otherwise unseen in these shows, unmatched by even the giant-joint scenes in "Shine On You Crazy Diamond." The alien from 'Robot Monster' (well, kind of) beams down to gawk at a rich guy's money (How did he get rich? By sawing off table legs!!) before filling his swimming pool with cash. Weee.

The films projected on Mr. Screen are mostly flicker-free, showing us how far camcorder technology came in 7 years ... unfortunately, the taper isn't often completely interested in Mr. Screen. The view is occasionally screwed up as the guy hides from security, and blocked for a terrible period in the first set when a goofy girl in a jester's cap dances around for no apparent reason right in front of the camera. Oh yeah, "Keep Talking" is the dance hit of the decade. In any case, although I am not terribly fond of '94 shows (boooor-ing), this definitely has its moments. If you enjoy this era and ever wanted to see the extreme close-up view of a '94 show, or if you only wanted to see Nick's glowing drumsticks up close and personal, then pick this up ... if only to laugh at the look of intense concentration on Dave's face throughout the show, or perhaps Nick diving for cover as Mr. Screen explodes at the end of "Run Like Hell."
