Taking its' title from Gilmour's between-song banter, 'California in the Springtime' is an identical-quality DVD conversion of 'Live in Oakland 4.21.94'. Being, IMHO, the best VoIO of the 1994 tour I've seen yet, it is recommended. But wait, there's more!
Included as bonus material are three tracks from Oslo, Norway in August 1994. This video was previously reviewed as 'Marooned in Oslo' and considering the fact that these three tracks are really the only ones worth watching from that excruciating video (given the full-stage treatment of 'One of These Days' and 'Run Like Hell', and the novelty factor of 'Marooned'), this is almost like 2 VoIOs in one swoop. Certainly beats watching the whole damn show from row 968 anyway. Recommended.
